Are donations tax deductible?
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes, you can choose to keep your donation private.
A person or business can give anonymously through:
1. Cashier’s check or money order
You can make it payable to Dorothy Cox Tinctures, LLC and mail it without your personal name shown, or through a representative.
2. Attorney, accountant, or business agent
As a donor you can have a lawyer, CPA, or business manager send funds on their behalf. DCT can record the contributor as “Anonymous Supporter” while still keeping any required internal records.
3. Anonymous business sponsorship
A business can sponsor DCT privately and request: “Do not publicly disclose our company name.” This is good for larger amounts because it keeps the paperwork clean.
4. Gift letter
For larger personal contributions, use a simple signed gift/contribution letter saying the money is voluntary, not a loan, not an investment, and no repayment is expected. For 2026, the IRS gift-tax annual exclusion is listed at $19,000 per donee, so large personal gifts may require the donor to ask their tax professional about gift-tax reporting.
